Statutory Audits

 

Financial statement audits are required by state statute or regulation to be performed for governmental entities such as Municipalities, School District, Authorities and Fire Districts. The Governmental Auditing Standards were issued by the General Accounting Office in an attempt to increase uniformity in audits of governmental entities.
